I started my 2020 French trip at Bounty Lakes near Le Mans, the first week was very good on lake B2with 38 carp caught including a 40lb common carp. My Bearcreeks Navitec baitboat was absolutely amazing as there were strong winds but with the auto pilot it got out to my chosen spots at 80yrds no problem. The bc202 fish finder showed clearly the deeper gully where is was catching my fish.
Week two was also at Bounty Lakes but this time on B1. The temperature had dropped considerably but I still managed to catch another 9 carp including a 42lb mirror carp.
Week three we travelled across country to Petit Pretre for the Anglo German Carp Fest charity match. I was lucky in the draw and picked a good swim, I managed to catch 3 carp that gave me 3rd place overall.
With 3 weeks of hard rain my BCBA04 alarm set was faultless and didn't miss a beat and with the high winds I could turn down the sensitivity to stop any annoying beeps that would normally occur.
