These wafters have been carefully crafted to achieve a boilie that sits as close to neutral buoyancy as possible, and we believe we've achieved this with a combination of our high-quality Nuti-B base mix and our Nuti-B pop-up mix.
Creating a bait that neither floats nor sits hard on the bottom can make the difference between a bite or none at all.
As a guideline, a size 6-8 hook is sufficient to sink a 15mm wafter, with the hook remaining on the lake bed while the wafter proudly sits above. (Different hook patterns and weights will affect buoyancy).
This allows the wafter to lift off from the lake bed, appearing completely natural and weightless.

Please note: As with all baits, wafters will absorb water over time, affecting their buoyancy.
